Our visitors for the day! We were lucky enough to get twin 9 month olds and their sister who is 3 because they have not been able to find them a daycare. Charly had a great time today playing with the 3 year old and I was in baby heaven surrounded by babies. Thankfully it was only for one day. Please pray for their foster family. They are a wonderful couple that have no children and have taken on these three girls as their very first case.

Adios Amigos

Our sweet little 9 lb 12 oz bundle of joy left today. We will get him back next week. He went home to his original foster family that we were helping out. He was and is such a good baby. We are all in love with him (Charly included!). I think we would all keep him in a heart beat, but pray that if he does get to go home and be with his family that he will be well loved and cared for. He has had a rough start as he tested positive for Meth and Marijuana as well as Hep C. I pray for him. I'm sure we will post more pictures when we get him next week and until then we are anxiously getting ready for our little man on Tuesday. We will immediately have a birthday to plan, as he will be 2 on August 17th. We did get a surprise call (about 10 to be honest) for more kiddos and have accepted to take care of 3 girls on Monday while their foster mom finds them daycare. We will get twin 9 month old girls and their 3 year old sister. Monday will be a girly day for us and Charly will have a great play date! Pray for us. :)

Firecracker...

Happy Fourth of July! We got the priviledge of starting our Fostercare journey TODAY. I know all the fireworks were to celebrate our nation, but I kinda pretended it was to celebrate our new chapter. I whispered to this sweet firecracker that all those beautiful fireworks were to celebrate him. HE IS A DOLL. What a joy he has been. 3 weeks old on July 4th and we were lucky enough to get to celebrate his very first holiday with him. He came to us with very very very little (like 2 onesies (and one he was wearing) a blanket and a towel). I dug out Charly's fourth of july onesie that was a little too big for him but wanted him to be festive. It also brought back memories of when I put it on my new baby in 2009. I think I have found my calling. I just love this baby. This little firecracker is only suppose to be with us till the 17th and then will probably go home to his dad. If not...we'll see. I would, of course, love to see him stay here. I just pray for him, and his family. Our next little visitor will be coming on Tuesday. 23 month old. We'll be lucky enough to celebrate the big #2 birthday with him. I'm excited. He will be more of a long termer for us. I'm excited. Please pray for these kiddos. Nobody deserves to be in this situation and especially not these kiddos.
